• Who needs to take the B+E Car & Trailer test?

  Drivers who tow medium and large trailers or caravans using cars, 4x4s or vans usually have to take the Category B+E entitlement on their license. Drivers who passed their car driving test afrer January the 1st 1997 are only given B enetitlement which relates to cars, vans and 4x4s only. 

• Is this course for me?

  No matter whether you are a total beginner that has never towed a trailer, or you have had previous experience or trailer towing lessons, we can ensure you reach the right standard to pass your trailer towing test.

  Maybe you need to pass the test quickly because you run a business that used a fleet of commercial trailers, or you need to pass the test for employment reasons – you can book from a range of trailer training courses across Yorkshire or Lancashire to suit you.

  All commercial and non-commercial drivers that are looking to tow a trailer, horsebox or caravan from a range of vehicles are required to take the Category B+E test for towing a trailer or caravan (weighing over 750kg).

• How many days will I need off work?

  In terms of actual time, most people only need 2 or 3 days off work to see them through the test. We offer a 1 and 1/2 day or 2 and 1/2 day course.

• Leadtime

  The average duration of the course is around 2 and a half days, depending on our availability and your availability. Test availability should be no more than two weeks - even at busy times.

• What does the package include?

  Costs include test fees, vehicle hire, experienced and qualified instructor, one-on-one training, tailor made training course bespoke to your requirements, flexible course dates and affordable course fees.

• What are the requirements?

  You must be over 17 with a valid in-date UK car driving license. You must always carry your license while on the course. This course is only suitable for confident drivers.
